Attorney Mike Keating Presides Over National Bicycle Lawyer Meeting

Keating Law Offices attorney Mike Keating recently presided over the bi-annual meeting of the Bicycle Litigation Committee for the American Association for Justice (AAJ) in Boca Raton, Florida. AAJ is formerly known as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and is the nation's largest and most influential group of trial lawyers. The mission of AAJ is to protect the right of all Americans to pursue justice when they or a loved one has been injured.

The Bicycle Litigation Group is made up of some of the most prominent bicycle lawyers from throughout the United States. The group works together to advocate for bicyclists and ensure that they are legally protected. A primary focus of the Bicycle Litigation Group is to share insights and analysis on efforts by insurance companies and anti-bicycling interests to compromise the rights of bicyclists when they are injured and to share the road. Many of the attorneys in the group are prominent bicycling advocates in their communities and have fought for safe streets for bicyclists not just in the courtroom but in city halls and state capitals throughout the country.

Mike Keating has acted as the Chair of the AAJ Bicycle Litigation Committee since 2013. Mike is considered one of the nation's leading bicycle law attorneys and bicycle advocates. The firm has successfully represented hundreds of Illinois bicyclists in a wide variety of cases where the bicyclist was injured in a bike crash or bike accident. The firm is committed to assisting any bicyclist anywhere in Illinois at any time.
