CO-2 Bike Tire Inflators from WalMart Recalled

The Consumer Products Safety Commission is reporting that about 24,000 Zefal brand carbon dioxide bike tire inflators sold exclusively at WalMart have been recalled.

The inflators were manufactured in Taiwan and imported by Todson, Inc. of Massachusetts. The recall stems from concerns that the carbon dioxide cartridge could separate from the metal head and injure the user. Consumers are urged to stop using the inflator and return it to WalMart for a full refund.

If a person were injured while using a pump like this, there could be the basis for a product liability case against the manufacturer. If you have been injured will using a product, please call Mike Keating of Keating Law Offices at 312-208-7702 or MKeating@KeatingLegal.com.
